More than 50 people from businesses, non-profits and public agencies attended CFM's seminar, Social Media: More Than Kids' Play.
CFM's award-winning marketing communications team shared social media insights, sleek online tools to capture and organize information, and CFM client Tillamook Cheese's example of growth through strategic social media applications.
The forum was an opportunity to address people's concerns about social media and give them the information they needed to consider social media strategically.
"After the CFM seminar on social media, I better understand why integrating social media into a marketing plan is so important," said Oregon Winegrowers Association President Kara Olmo. "CFM's team of social media professionals delivered the most informative, up-to-date, convincing session on social media that I have attended."
CFM kept its guests on their toes with technology trivia and lunch-with-CFM drawings.
The team fielded questions ranging from the future of Web sites, the appropriate voice for brands on Twitter and how to gain top-level management support for social media initiatives.
CFM's marketing communications team includes staff members who specialize in strategic applications of Facebook, Twitter, online video, Web and e-mail marketing and search engine optimization.
