With key transportation and land use decisions at the top of Metro's agenda, the race for Metro Council President is being closely watched by everyone. The Portland Business Alliance (PBA) will host a candidate forum at 7:30 AM, February 17, featuring the three candidates vying for the spot.
The three candidates are Metro Councilor Rex Burkholder, former Hillsboro mayor Tom Hughes and Bob Stacey, an attorney and former CEO of 1000 Friends of Oregon.
The PBA Breakfast Forums are held at the Governor Hotel in downtown Portland. Registration will close February 16 at 3 p.m. Table or individual series subscriptions are available, as well as tables and seats for individual breakfasts. Forum sponsorships also are available.
