Oregon Public Broadcasting is recognizing CFM and a number of other organizations for reaching their 10th year as OPB Business Partners. A Business Partner thank you event will be held June 25.
“We have a special relationship with OPB that we deeply value,” says CFM Partner Dave Fiskum. “We are proud to be a sponsor and appreciate the recognition that comes from that association.”
CFM lobbies on behalf of OPB in Salem, representing the nonprofit before state agencies and the legislature.
“We helped OPB gain state bonding authority to build new transmission towers around the state,” says Fiskum. “With federally mandated transition to a digital-only transmission system looming in early 2009, OPB faced the grim prospect of cutting programs and services throughout the state, especially in rural Oregon.”
