Miller Joins CFM's Salem Team

Ellen Miller joined CFM this week and will work with the firm's state lobby and public affairs teams.

Miller, P.E., is a professional civil engineer who grew interested in public affairs while completing her MBA at Willamette University's Atkinson Graduate School of Management. She worked in Salem with the CFM state lobby team during the 2012 Oregon legislative session.

While obtaining her MBA, Miller worked for the League of Oregon Cities, Salem-Keizer School District and City of Salem's public works department. She also worked for the Bonneville Power Administration on a quality assurance review related to electricity rates. Her community service includes time as executive director of GEM's Children Foundation of Salem, as well as stints on Salem's City Citizens Commission and Historic Landmark Commission.

As a civil engineer, Miller worked for Bau Engineering of Salem, OTak in Lake Oswego and Scott, Cox and Associates of Boulder, Colorado.

"Ellen brings a wide-ranging background and a wide array of skills to this position," says CFM Partner Dan Jarman. "She will add depth and value to our state lobby team.

Miller will work out of CFM's Portland office, but spend a considerable amount of time at the state Capitol.
