Two CFM staff members are sporting new titles that reflect their evolving and growing responsibilities. Suzie Giacomelli is now an account manager and Hannah Smith is CFM's digital strategist.
"Suzie has demonstrated her skill in managing client accounts and projects," says CFM President Gary Conkling. "Hannah brings a wealth of knowledge, insight and experience in identifying and executing digital strategies."
Smith and Giacomelli are members of the CFM public relations team that provides marketing PR and public affairs services to clients. Both are graduates of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication.
"Few things are as rewarding as establishing and nurturing a working relationship with a client," Giacomelli says. "The key is building trust that what you do is aimed at achieving success for the client."
"Digital media continues to fascinate me because of its vast opportunities and challenges," Smith says. "Everyday is a learning experience because there is so much change so fast. Our job is to stay on top of that change and harness it for our clients."
CFM has never been the cleverest creative agency in town when it comes to titles. "However, in this case, these title changes are significant," Conkling explains, "because they reflect to a greater degree what Suzie and Hannah do everyday for our clients."
Giacomelli and Smith started work for CFM as interns, but have become experienced pubic relations professionals with success stories in social media, story pitching, website development, special events and visual communications.
