This summer CFM is splitting the intern in half. Yale University undergraduate Rob Williams will be a CFM summer intern, working first in Washington, D.C. in June-July and then in Portland during July-August. He starts this week.
Last summer, he helped launch a startup branch of a national college prep company in Portland, educating students in classroom and one-on-one settings in SAT prep and advising on college admissions. Expecting to graduate in 2012, Rob is going for a double major in history and political science.
Outside of his studies, Rob is an avid singer. He is a member of several ensembles, including the nation’s second oldest a cappella group, the Yale Spizzwinks(?), as well as the Yale Glee Club and the Opera Theatre of Yale College. This summer, he managed the Spizzwinks(?)’ four-country tour of Asia and will serve as the group’s business manager in the upcoming academic year.
Rob is a 2004 graduate of Jesuit High School in Portland and served as Valedictorian after achieving a cumulative 4.0 GPA. He also was a founding member of the Tigard Youth Advisory Council, serving as the group’s president
