CFM is perched again on the annual Portland Business Journal’s Private 100 Companies list. CFM was ranked 89th on the top 100 fastest-growing privately owned companies list on Friday.
The companies, ranked in the Portland area, are rated by percentage of revenue growth over three years. CFM revenue grew from $2.7 million in 2006 to more than $4.3 million in 2008. CFM is the only full service public relations firm on the list, but there were several niche social marketing services.
"No one could have predicted the depth of the current recession," added CFM President Gary Conkling. "But we have executed a business strategy over the past two years to grow our market share by offering more relevant services to existing and potential clients."
Says Business Journal publisher Craig Wessel: “Make no mistake. Growth came harder this year."
CFM employed 20 persons in 2008 with offices in Portland, Salem and Washington D.C. The firm provides public affairs, public relations and research services.
